October Update

Some additional things I didn't mention in the video:

• Since I'm borrowing from different Native American teachings, I'm also thinking about how to honor Asian American contributions to the land while reckoning with the fact that we are here because of colonization and genocide. Asian Americans have been used by white people as a tool of imperialism. This needs to stay in the front of my mind while I write.
